Amazon is making a fresh start with Amazon Shipping, the shipping service that online retailers can also utilize for orders beyond the platform. The service has been reintroduced in the United Kingdom and is now also accessible to online retailers in France, Italy, and Spain.

The Spanish fashion brand Desigual is introducing its first on-demand collection. The garments can only be ordered online, starting with the Spanish domestic market, Germany, France, and Italy. The items will only be produced after they are ordered.

Spanish returns management software provider Rever has raised 7.5 million euros in a seed funding round. The capital injection will be used to fund the startup’s growth and international expansion. The company will be adding AI-powered functionalities to its offer later this year.

Alibaba is taking a major step in its international push. The Chinese ecommerce giant is introducing Tmall in Europe, starting with Spain. Michael Evans, president of Alibaba, announced this at the Viva Tech conference in Paris, France.

Spanish wholesale platform BigBuy has generated a turnover of 105 million euros in 2022. The company managed around 2 million orders in that same year. Additionally, it has increased its workforce by 20 percent.

Momox, a second hand marketplace for media products, is expanding to Italy and Spain. The company is also planning to launch its fashion segment, now only available in Germany, in more European markets.

Ecommerce giant Amazon is not opening new logistics warehouses in Spain until 2024. The company was planning to build on land of around 150,000 square meters in the country, but is now pausing those plans. The pause is caused by inflation and drop in consumer demand.
