Platform service provider Heyconnect has started a cooperation with French marketplace La Redoute. Now, Heyconnect can offer German and international brands the opportunity to offer their products on the popular French ecommerce platform for home and fashion.

Superwinkel, an online department store from the Netherlands, has launched its online store in France. As 'Superwinkel' is a Dutch name, the company will operate under the translated name 'Supershop' in France.

The turnover of business-to-consumer ecommerce in France is expected to reach 104.2 billion euros at the end of 2019. This would mean an increase of 12.5 percent compared to the situation last year, when ecommerce in France was worth 92.6 billion euros.

ManoMano, an online do-it-yourself marketplace from France, has raised 110 million euros in a funding round from Eurazeo, Aglaé Venture, and Bpifrance, as well as existing investors CM-CIC, Partech, Piton, and General Atlantic.
