Wrangler opens online stores in Europe

Wrangler has some big plans for this fall: it will launch an online store in ten European countries as well as launch a campaign with Finnish racing driver Kimi Raikkönen to boost sales. At the end of this year, Wrangler's online has to available in Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Austria, Poland, the Netherlands, Great Britain and Ireland. France and Belgium will follow later.

Dutch marketing agency Shop2market expands its international focus, opening an office in London. By adding a UK-based team the company is actively looking across the border, since it also has offices in The Netherlands and France. In the UK, Shop2market has clients such as Made.com, Dune London, Bottica and Cotsworld Outdoor.

New look for Dutch online store Bol.com

The Dutch online store Bol.com has made some big changes to its design, in order to be ready “for the future”. The redesign is not something that came out of nowhere, as the ecommerce site was already renovating its site design. Last year it started with the first few tests and two months ago the site navigation changed completely. Bol.com will also release its own mobile apps later this year.

Take-away site Just Eat reports revenue growth of 58%

Just Eat has shown some pretty big growth during the first half six months of this year. Its revenue grew by almost sixty percent compared to the same period last year, while its profit went up almost 600% in the past six months. But not all is positive for the UK-headquartered company, as revenue in Belgium and the Netherlands declined.

Online music store Bax-shop is expanding

The self-appointed ‘biggest online music store in The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg’ is planning to spread throughout more countries in Europe. Earlier this year Bax-shop already launched online stores in France (Bax-shop.fr) and Germany (Bax-shop.de). Sweden, Italy, UK and Spain are on the list for next year.

Coolblue’s revenue grows by 55% during first semester of 2014

Coolblue, the Dutch ecommerce company famous for its dozens of online shops, has reported revenue growth of  55% during the first six months of 2014, a significant gain on its usual quarterly growth of about 40%. This revenue growth is something Coolblue didn’t expect. It used to think its revenue will grow to 300 million euros this year, but for now the forecast is changed into 350 million euros.

Belgian parcel delivery service Kiala now also ships cross-border

Kiala, which sends parcels to over 11,700 convenient collection points throughout Western Europe, has enabled merchants to get their goods delivered to other countries where Kiala is active. From now one, an online merchant sending parcels using Kiala can also send these parcels to the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France and Spain.
